i've never really noticed and appreciated how people came up with inventions and different techniques to do different things in general, until now.

take for instance, earphones/speakers. i mean, it's a bloody smart invention la, and no one appreciates and acknowledges the bugger who created it. liike dude, he turned electricity or sth into SOUND man. amazing. he revolutionized music man. he created a whole new meaning to music. he allowed music to be enjoyed individually. imagine your life without them. misery?

as for techniques, have you ever imagined how a group of cavemen ever came up with the idea of cooking food? think about it, would you have thought of sth so smart? mixing flesh with fire. that caveman has to be rewarded with the nobel prize award or sth man. it's just a pity he's probably dead.
