I got bored and decided to read through random blogposts on my blog archives. I then stumbled across one post dated October 5th '06:

"everyone changes, even if you held a reunion with the people you were close to, it wouldn't feel the same way it was the last time. so you know what i think? i think you all should treasure your time now and have good memories with the people you consider your buddies. when you grow older, you'll never see the buddy the way he/she is now ever again. think about it man."

How true indeed.

Special thanks to Ben Heo and YK for being my best 2 buddies for 5 and a half years running.

The reason this blog post hit me soo hard, was cuz i went out with my dearest ben today, and we reminded ourselves of some good times we had back in those days.

I think now, i know how it feels like to be in debt. Not just any ordinary debt, a HEAVY debt.. Oh, and dont get the wrong idea, it's not a financial debt to banks or loan sharks.

It's an "Assignment" debt.

I've been worrying about my exams and tests coming up on the month of august, and i thought about the situation last year: the last paper fell on my birthday, so i thought, "oh, maybe that could happen again, and i can celebrate my 18th birthday and the end of exams together!"

but further verification unveiled that instead of the last paper, the 2nd last paper was the one to fall on my big day... Which means there isn't exactly anything to celebrate about. How exciting.

And i've been wondering - why is it that when the girls in SNSD dance, their knees dont dislocate and have their ligaments injured, and i get the same thing...just by jogging -.-

Stayed over at my granny's place last night and boy was i brought back in time. Bathing there, eating there, watching tv there and simply stoning at the bench there really reminded me of the good old CNY days i used to enjoy back then. Activities such as bonfires, fire sparklers, afternoon naps at auntie's room, NGO HIANGS, disney films in the afternoons, and that bloody scary board game my cousin brought over which we all played in the dark were a must.

It's really occasions like these that make you look back at your life, and wonder why people grow up so quickly...

The stay over also taught me to treasure my granny more and make the best out of what's left.

How bout you? Have you been treasuring your loved ones?

There are 2 types of dreams:

Realistic dreams
and Unrealistic dreams

and honestly, if you look at it from a wider perspective, it dont make any difference at all.

The only difference is whether you're willing to break your arm for something you've been longing for all your life or not.

And with that, separates a generation of people:
The successful... and The dreamers..

Here i am, in the midst of this quiet and peaceful Sunday afternoon. My mum's sleeping, my dad's at work, and i just dont know what to do to kill time. Such a great weather to sleep and wake up just in time for dinner, but i'm sure you know by now, that i am a person that cannot take afternoon naps.

So Here i am, stoning my Sunday away...

Kelvin Choo's guide to getting your bum to do work. - It's Free and Easy!

  1. Set MSN to "away" or "busy" status. (We all know we can never be at our desks without the computer turned on or without the MSN icon unclicked)
  2. Turn on iTunes. (Duh? Should have already been turned on...)
  3. Play some good musik to get your feet tappin' all night long (sets the mood too)
  4. Take out assignments (hardest part)
  5. Take out pencil box (second hardest part)
  6. Take a deep long breath
  7. WHACK...
When you're done, you'll be satisfied.

OK, time for me to start on my work too. errrr, shit?

Listen to the chorus of this song

And listen to the verse of this song

Now lets see....Who copied who?

You know i have this auntie who sends me E-mails from time to time to ask me how am i and how my family is doing. And recently she sent me this forwarded mail and i'ma just share sth i thought is quite meaningful (and essential for self-improvement)

"Four things you can't recover:

The stone........after the throw.
The word........after it's said.
The occasion.......after it's missed.
The time.........after it's gone."

And indeed, time lost...is money lost (cuz time=money and vice versa).
