Ok, it's evident that i can't really be bothered with this blog anymore. BUT NO, i'm not gonna give up just yet. i'm just gonna give myself time to recuperate from excessive forced blogging.

so anyway, just a brief roundup of what's been going on these few days.

Been rotting at home almost everyday now that it's the YOG break. wake up in the mid afternoon, have brunch, watch man vs wild, watch top gear, have dinner, msn, fb, observe plants grow, watch more top gear and man vs wild, solitaire on my cellphone, and sleep. it's that simple. and it's pretty much the same everyday. oh, and dont get me wrong, i do fit in a few hours of revision here and there, but quite minimal i must say. but isn't that what holidays are all abt? rotting at home, embracing free time. ahhh.

so anyway, being a Singaporean, we often complain about things that either matter to us or not. and now that the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympics Games are here in town, Singaporeans have something new to rant about. Volunteer's food quality, weird venues, overspending, etc etc etc. but why can't we over-pampered Singaporeans embrace what the nation has achieved instead of loss? ok look at it this way, Singapore is now on the world map for an international event, and even countries like Zimbabwe and Azerbaijan now know of our small red dot, and that we're not part of China. or or or, how about our world class infrastructure? aren't we proud that the world now knows of our advanced country? more so our existence.

Maybe next time, when we read the daily papers, or watch the news, we can start looking at Singapore as a success rather than a failure. After all, we are Singaporeans.
